He is Ron Paul on steroids. Instead of a Libertarian turned Republican - He is a Republican turned Libertarian. He advocates not only abolishing the income tax but additionally repealing the 16th amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

If there are “sufficient numbers” of people behind a Bob Barr presidential race, he’s running, the former Republican said.
His announcement brought whoops and applause from the audience [...]

WASHINGTON – Rush Limbaugh isn’t the only surprise supporter in Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign. Only thing is, this guy is for real.
Continuing the transition from No. 1 Clinton media enemy to political ally, Richard Mellon Scaife, publisher of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and a principal owner of NewsMax.com, met with Hillary Clinton and pronounced [...]

Some prominent leaders, including Focus on the Family founder James Dobson, even have said they will not vote rather than vote for the liberal leanings of McCain.
So is 2008 the year when a third-party candidate would find some traction among those disaffected by the abortion, marriage and national security stances found in the records of [...]

Official “Obama Pride” logo advocating homosexual rights
It’s not easy to find on his campaign website, but Sen. Barack Obama has issued an open letter to the “LGBT community” assuring them he believes in “full equality” for homosexuals and stating that, unlike Sen. Hillary Clinton, he advocates the complete repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act.
