The son of a US police chief, who is also an officer, is being investigated after he was filmed firing a Taser stun gun at a motorist before punching him and slamming his head into the ground.

A Shreveport Police officer at the heard of a police brutality claim was fired for “violating department policy,” said the city’s police chief on Wednesday.
